American Muslims for Hunger Relief (AMFHR) presents a day for Community
Service.
With the help of local mosques in the Ocean and Monmouth County area,
the Muslim volunteers from AMFHR are planning to serve meals
to
the under privileged people of the Ocean/Monmouth communities on
Saturday, October 15th 2011 from 8:30am till 2:00pm.
AMFHR is a recently established Muslim organization that strives to do
its part to help weave Muslims into the fabric of American society.
We invite ALL people to join us as volunteers to fulfill our religious
and civic duties.
When:

Masjid Mustafa & Masjid Bilal
Volunteer shifts available: Full Shift: 8:30am to 1:30pm @ Masjid
Mustafa/ Masjid Bilal
Lunch Prep in Kitchen Shift: 8:30 am to 11:30am at Masjid Mustafa
Lunch Serve Shift: 12:30am to 1:30pm at Masjid Bilal
Clean up shift: 11:30-12:15 at Masjid Mustafa /1:30pm to 2:00pm @
Masjid Bilal
** Children 12 and up are eligible for volunteering with parental
supervision. Closed toe shoes only. Volunteer Certificates for students
will be available for those volunteering up to five hrs upon request
