Soup Kitchen held on October 15, 2011 at ICOC and Masjid Bilal.
We thank the executive board of ICOC on opening the doors of OUR masjid to kick start Soup Kitchen this past Saturday.

A total of about 19 people including kids were at the Masjid supporting and volunteering for the cause. We made about 75 lunch boxes and brought them over to Tent City in Lakewood and distributed the food to homeless people living in those tents. It was indeed an eye opener for the youth who were present at Tent City to witness the living conditions of the homeless and at the same they got a chance to put a smile on those under privileged by distributing them with a nice meal.

All the youth were given volunteer certificates by AMFHR.
